Saturday Showcase: HiTech Filters
Lighthaus Camera is proud to present a new line of filters to our family. HiTech filters, based out of the UK is known for their high quality resin and glass filters for both the photography and film industries. The company was founded by Reginald Morris, a cheif physicist at Kodak who helped develop the "Kodak Wratten Standard". HiTech filters employ "Absorbing Cell" technology which the dyes are infused into every cell of the material instead of just coating it on the surface. This creates a long lasting and colorfast filter which should stand the test of time without the effect scratching off.
Lighthaus Camera carries several neutral density filters, soft edge filters, hard edge filters, reverse density filters and a few others that will help your creative photography ideas come to pass. Come visit any one of Lighthaus Camera's four locations to see what we have in stock.

Lighthaus Camera's Updated Rental Inventory
Heads Up Hawaii Peeps (locals or visitors)!
Last weekend I told you that Lighthaus Camera was in the process of updating our rental equipment. The Nikon gear has arrived and has been shipped to our four stores. See the photo below to view which store has what equipment and how much it costs to rent. Please keep in mind that when renting, there is a pre-authorization amount for rentals which stay on your credit card for five business days. This amount reflects the replacement cost of the equipment, so it may vary from item to item.
Renting cameras and lenses is a very cost effective way of trying different equipment. If purchasing that $2300, holy trinity lens is out of reach, most likely you can rent it at Lighthaus Camera. If you can afford the lens, try it before you buy it. We will credit you one days rental towards the purchase of a new lens or camera. Stop by any one of Lighthaus Camera's four locations to see what we have in stock for purchase or rental.

This 16MP camera has several different camera modes, has a continuous and burst shooting mode and can take about 260 shots on a full charge.
