HiTech filters, based out of the UK is known for their high quality resin and glass filters for both the photography and film industries. The company was founded by Reginald Morris, a cheif physicist at Kodak who helped develop the "Kodak Wratten Standard". HiTech filters employ "Absorbing Cell" technology which the dyes are infused into every cell of the material instead of just coating it on the surface. This creates a long lasting and colorfast filter which should stand the test of time without the effect scratching off.
